“He restores my soul.”
Psalm 23:3
After enough years, a marriage doesn't break. It wears. The conversations get shorter and the logistics get louder. You're managing a household, careers, maybe kids or grandkids, a church small group, and a list that never ends. Somewhere in all of it, the two of you got busy.
Seven nights in the Western Caribbean won't fix that on its own. Seven nights with something to actually do will. We sail from New Orleans in early December — before the holiday rush — for daily devotionals, unhurried meals, and time to talk without a schedule breathing down your neck. The ship has plenty to keep you entertained, and the ports give you a reason to get off and explore together. Or stay on board and do nothing, which is harder than it sounds.
We're not here to sell you a second honeymoon. We're here to help you take a breath, pray together, and find some margin in a season that usually has none. Bryant and I will be there, along with other Christian couples who get it. It's a week to rest, reconnect, and remember that your marriage is worth protecting.
Day by Day
New Orleans, Louisiana
Embark · Depart late afternoon
We meet at the port, get settled in our cabins, and sail out of New Orleans as the sun sets. Dinner is on board, and we'll gather for introductions after we're underway.
Day at Sea
Full day cruising
Our first full day on the ship. Morning devotional, then the day is yours to explore what's on board, sit by the pool, or take a nap without feeling guilty about it.
Day at Sea
Full day cruising
Another sea day to settle in. Try the rock wall, grab lunch at the Windjammer, or just sit on your balcony and watch the water. Evening group dinner.
Costa Maya, Mexico
Port day
We dock in Costa Maya, a quiet port town with beaches and access to Mayan ruins. Snorkel the reef, explore the shops, or take an excursion inland. Back on board by evening.
Roatan, Honduras
Port day
Roatan sits on the second largest barrier reef in the world. Snorkeling and diving are the main draw, but the beaches are worth the trip on their own. We're in port most of the day.
Cozumel, Mexico
Port day
Cozumel is the largest port on the itinerary. Shop in town, snorkel at Chankanaab, or take a day trip to the Tulum ruins. Plenty of options, none of them required.
Day at Sea
Full day cruising
Our last full day on the ship. Morning devotional, then a free day to enjoy whatever you didn't get to yet. We'll gather for a final group dinner before we dock.
New Orleans, Louisiana
Arrive early morning · Disembark
We arrive back in New Orleans in the morning. Disembarkation takes a few hours, and then you're on your own to head home or spend the weekend in the city.
Ports, days, and times are set by the cruise line and subject to change. Final itinerary confirmed with your booking.
Your Home at Sea
Mariner of the Seas is a Voyager-class ship built for active cruisers. It has a FlowRider surf simulator, The Perfect Storm waterslides, Battle for Planet Z laser tag, a rock-climbing wall, and an ice-skating rink. If you want to stay busy, you can. If you want to sit by the pool with a book, no one will stop you.
Dining options include the Main Dining Room, Windjammer Marketplace, Café Promenade, Dog House hot dogs, Chops Grille steakhouse, Jamie's Italian, Izumi sushi, Playmakers Sports Bar, and The Bamboo Room for tropical drinks. Specialty dining costs extra. The ship is large enough to feel like a resort and small enough that you won't get lost trying to find your cabin.

Stay in the Loop
Tell us a little about yourselves and we'll keep you posted. If this one turns out not to be the right fit, we'll help you find one that is.
We'll let you know the moment Restoration at Sea opens for booking, before it goes out to the wider list.
We also plan private getaways for two: anniversaries, milestones, or simply time you’ve both earned. Anywhere, any date.
