Covenant Retreats (“we,” “us,” or “our”) plans faith-centered retreats and travel for Christian couples. This policy explains what we collect at covenantretreats.com, why we collect it, and who we share it with.
When you contact us. Our inquiry forms ask for your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, party size, trip type, preferred timeframe, and whatever you tell us in your message. Our newsletter forms ask only for an email address, and a name where the signup is for a specific list.
When you book a trip. Travelers on a confirmed booking are asked for the details a cruise line, resort, or tour operator requires in order to issue travel documents: full legal name, date of birth, place of birth, contact details, an emergency contact, and passport number, issuing country, and issue and expiry dates. We ask whether you have mobility restrictions as a yes-or-no question only — any detail is discussed by phone and recorded with our host agency, not stored on this site. We do not store loyalty or rewards program numbers.
When you sign our booking terms. Signing our Booking Terms & Conditions electronically records your typed name, the date and time, the IP address the signature was sent from, and the exact text of the version you signed. The same is true of the travel insurance decision on the guest details form. We keep those records with your booking as proof of what was agreed.
Automatically. Like most websites we receive your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, and we set cookies for analytics and advertising measurement. See Cookies and advertising below.
Payments. Card payments are handled on a hosted checkout page by our payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
If you give us your mobile number and check the box asking us to text you, we use that number so Bryant or Debbie can reply about your inquiry and help plan your trip. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of booking or of any purchase, and you can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP. Full details are in our Messaging Terms.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We share only what each party needs in order to do its job, and we require them to protect it:
We use Google Analytics to understand how this site is used, and the Meta pixel and Conversions API to measure whether our advertising works. These tools set cookies and receive limited technical information about your visit. When you submit a form we may also send a hashed — that is, scrambled and not readable — version of your email address or phone number, so that a conversion can be matched to an ad without revealing your details. You can block cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on.
Passport numbers are encrypted before they are stored, and every time one is viewed or exported it is recorded. Once a passport has been entered into our host agency’s system — which is the system of record for your booking — we delete the number from this site.
We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and we delete passport numbers as described above. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where a minor travels with you, their details are provided by the booking adult.
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
