After enough years, a marriage doesn't break. It wears. The conversations get shorter and the logistics get louder, and two people who genuinely love each other end up running a household instead of building a life together.
Five nights in the Western Caribbean won't fix that on its own. Five nights with something to actually do will.
Some mornings we gather. The rest, it's just the two of you and a devotional guide that puts a real conversation in front of you before the day starts — not a workbook, a reason to sit down across from each other. Some evenings we teach. The others, you're at a table with couples who know exactly the season you're in.
Everything between is yours. Walk the deck with nowhere to be. Stand in front of a Maya temple that was already ancient when your worries were invented. Sit in silence for an hour and let that be comfortable instead of awkward.
Come home restored. On purpose, this time.

Start with a morning devotional together, then let the day go at its own pace. Linger over breakfast. Find a quiet corner and a book. Or watch the horizon for a while. It's allowed.

Explore ancient Maya ruins, or spend the day on the beach with no agenda at all. Tonight, dinner together and the stories that come with it.

Watch the sun go down from the deck. Have a quiet meal, just the two of you. Find your new friends in the evening when you want company. We've handled the details, so you can get on with what you came for: rest, and each other.

U.S. citizens on a closed-loop cruise (one that leaves from and returns to the same U.S. port) may travel with a government-issued photo ID and a certified birth certificate. We'd still strongly recommend bringing a valid passport, in case something unexpected comes up. If you're not a U.S. citizen, check the requirements with your consulate. We'll confirm final document requirements when you book.
Each morning begins with optional devotional time led by Bryant and Debbie, usually 30 to 45 minutes. These are small gatherings around Scripture, reflection and prayer. The idea is to start the day grounded, not to fill it. We'll share exact times and locations once we're aboard.
Yes. Our retreats are for Christian couples 40 and better. We've found it makes for better fellowship when everyone in the room is in a similar season of life.
We arrange group dinners on several evenings, so you can get to know the other couples over good food and conversation. You'll also have plenty of meals to yourselves. We try to balance the two. We can talk through dining preferences when you book.
Liberty of the Seas has accessible staterooms and facilities, elevators serve all passenger decks, and accessible shore excursions can be arranged. Tell us what you need when you book so we can make sure you're comfortable the whole way through.
